Professional, Continuing and Online Educator Award (UPCEA)

This award is granted to professional member of UPCEA South who has been employed in college/university professional, continuing and online education for at least the last five years and who has demonstrated leadership through innovative program development in continuing higher education.

Becas Santander: V Concurs Tast de Màster- 2nd Prize, 2023 (250€)

This scholarship is awarded by the administrative team of the Center of Postgraduate Studies (CEP) with the sponsorship of Santander Universidades, during the VIII Postgraduate Studies Week’s “V Concurs Tast de Màster” at the Universitat de les Illes Balears for best 5-minute flash talk of a defended and passed master’s thesis during the 2021-2022 academic year.

The Catalan Society of Sociolinguistics (SOCS) bestows this honor recognizing superior-quality Master’s and undergraduate theses in the different sociolinguistic research lines from universities in the Catalan Countries or in Catalan sociolinguistics from foreign universities.

Premi Aina Moll, 2021 (3,000€)

This award is granted by the General Directorate for Language Policy of the Government of the Balearic Islands for best student paper in the field of Catalan linguistics with the objective of promoting research in this specific field.
